摘要
The analysis method presented in Part I of this report (see same issue p. 145-150) is applied to several illustrative examples: (i) an iron-core inductor, (ii) an air-gap winding generator model, (iii) a magnetic recording head, and (iv) the three-dimensional geometry of a 50-MVA turbine-generator. The vector potential solution was postprocessed to yield flux densities, open-circuit voltage and other parameters. Comparisons with test and results of other methods are made where available. The numerical solutions are illustrated by means of equipotentials, vector plots and graphs for easy visualization.
