摘要
Numerical modeling of the process of chemical capping of a rimming steel shows that it is advisable to use deoxidants which rapidly melt in the top part of the ingot and deoxidize it. Given an optimal degree of oxidation of the metal, which depends on the rate of consumption of the deoxidant, contamination of the top part of the ingot by deoxidation products can be prevented.
