Analysis of DC-coupled burst mode receiver in ATM passive optical network

摘要
According to the practical demands of the ATM passive optical network, we analyse the DC-coupled burst mode receiver. The result demonstrates that the burst-mode receiver based on dynamic peak-detector is unable to be applied because of larger network capacity penalty and sensitivity penalty, but the burst-mode receiver based on local peak-detector can meet the network demand.
