摘要
The results of a physicochemical study showed that additions of more than 2. 5-12. 5% Fe//2O//3 to high-basicity iron-containing slag cause significant changes in the melt structure. These changes manifest themselves in the form of a softening (up to 10%) of the slag, an increase in its surface tension by a factor of 1. 1 to 1. 6, a decrease in its viscosity by a factor of 1. 3 to 2. 0, and an increase of 120-130 degree C in the melting point of the slag. Consequently, the calculation of the kinetic characteristics and the selection of the technological parameters of the process cannot be done without taking these facts into account.
