摘要
The fundamental thermodynamic equality for irreversible processes phi (T, epsilon ) plus T's(T, epsilon ) minus sigma **m**n(T, epsilon ) epsilon //m//n(t) equals f**t equals 0 and the variational principle delta f**t equals 0 are used to obtain the determining functional equations for the stress tensor and entropy. An example that leads to a theory of thermoviscoelasticity is considered.
