Reconstruction and modernization: ways to higher efficiency of in-plant energy systems

摘要
When burning fuel in the furnace working space, an elevated rate of gaseous flow in the vicinity of metal is shown to be attractive for raising the rate of heat removal. A jet heated furnace is best suited for this purpose. That is why all the furnaces are fitted out with high-speed jet burners and radiation heat exchangers of a high heat removal factor. These results in an increase in the efficiency of a furnace, the heat utilization and the lining resistance (by 1.5 times). At the same time the fuel consumption and the nitrogen oxide content in combustion products are half as much.
