ITMA 91. The greatest show on earth

A discussion is presented of the ITMA exhibit held in Hannover, Germany from September 24 to October 3rd 1991. In 20 exhibition halls, 1,328 exhibitors from 25 countries provided the latest comprehensive update of machinery and accessories available on the international market. Almost equally large in stand space occupation terms are the spinning machinery and the finishing machinery groups; and although only half their size, the weaving machinery group is clearly larger than that of knitting/hosiery machines + clothing machines.
