摘要
The seamless integration of high-speed, broadband digital and analog transmissions is the new frontier of today's cellular communication systems. As communication systems supporting heterogeneous traffic become more commonplace, controlling electromagnetic interference (EMI) inherent in mixed-signal wireless conditions is increasingly critical. Although there are some methods available for EMI control, additional research is required to fully address interference in the cellular networks of the future. A very promising are for creating EMI solutions is the development of novel materials for equipment housings at cellular base stations. New composite materials could be fabricated to exhibit a variety of useful properties.
