摘要
Young's modulus, the spring limit value, the tensile strength, Vickers hardness, and Knoop hardness of typical spring materials show their maximum values when the longitudinal axis of the specimen is selected perpendicular to the rolling direction. The effect of the mechanical anisotropy is remarkable for the spring limit value, Young's modulus and the tensile strength but less for hardness. From the interrelationship of the above five mechanical properties, it is revealed that Young's modulus has a significant effect on the spring limit value and tensile strength for the typical spring materials tested in the experiment.
