THE NEED TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE FREQUENCY RELATIONSHIP OFTHE PARAMETERS R//A (OHMIC RESISTANCE) AND L//A (INDUCTANCE) WHILE FEEDING THE ARMATURE WINDING WITH A VOLTAGE HAVING PULSE REPETITION FREQUENCY OVER 0. 5-1 KHZ IS EXPLAINED. SIMPLIFIED FORMULAE FOR STRAY LOSSES IN COPPER AND STEEL ARE DERIVED. RESULTS OF EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ARE PRESENTED.
