Effect of bath parameters on stirring in DC electric arc furnace

摘要：
Stirring characteristics of metal bath in the DC electric arc furnace with different bath parameters were studied by combining Maxwell equation with Navier-Stokes equation. The results showed that these parameters have great effect on the stirring of metal bath. It was found that the DC electric arc furnace with larger height-diameter ratio of bath and larger bottom electrode has better stirring effect.
