Author describes CNES satellite system and in more detail satellite system GEOLE, designed for geodetic purposes. Required precision of communicated informations is 2 mm/sec as to the radial speed. Technical problems related to these precision requirements are analyzed; selection and propagation of frequencies, antennas and effect of instrumental errors. Finally, various possible applications of geology are presented.
