摘要
60Coγ-ray irradiation was newly used to increase the surface concentration of oxygen function. The effect of the treatment upon surface properties was studied. The element composition changes in the fiber surface were determined. It was found that the irradiation treatment improved the tensile strength, modulus and fracture strain of carbon fiber. The surface oxygen was found in the distribution during irradiation dose 1×102-1×103 Gy. The irradiation process can change surface chemical constituents, and lead to the promotion of surface activities. The maximum interlaminar shear strength corresponds to an increase of 31%.
