摘要
This paper evaluates examples of modern design concepts for the combustion of low-volatiles coal for forced once-through steam generators with regard to the load behavior and efficiency increase and with regard to monitoring the condition of highly stressed components. NO//x reduction by staged feeding of coal dust into the burner is also discussed, as well as the concept of the integrated combined cycle/coal gasification power plant and the use of pressurized fluidized bed combustion for efficiency improvement and simultaneous emission reduction.
