BAG-IN-BOX FOAM MOLDING.

A plastic bag, glued to the inside of a carton during manufacture, provides the required separation of an in situ foamed cushion from the product packaged by the foam. This saves time and eliminates problems encountered in handling a separate sheet of plastic. Foam-in-place chemicals are poured into the carton over the plastic covered product image. The carton bottom flaps are then closed and sealed, and the foam allowed to expand and cure. The carton is then lifted off the product image, completing the operation.
