摘要
BatchMaker, the new batch calculation software is widely used by mass glass production and special glass applications as it enables optimization of glass batches and glass properties. The batch calculation defines chemical glass composition which determines the physical and chemical properties of the final product and also has a decisive influence on melting and forming properties. The software features a convenient graphical user interface with data exchange, laboratory information management and batch plant control systems. The calculation of the relevant glass properties on the basis of the current glass analysis serve as an important building block for process stability. The BatchMaker software stores all its data in machine readable XML format and is simple to integrate import functions into modern batch plant control software.
