To meet the need for the development of integrated control technology of vehicle powertrain system, a control method of fuel injection quantity for diesel engine with high-pressure common rail system based on required traction is put forward, and the calculation method and control principle of fuel injection quantity are discussed in-detail. Taking the turbocharged direct injection diesel engine of a SUV as an example, and according to the target engine torque determined by required traction in the process of vehicle starting and acceleration, the corresponding fuel injection quantity is calibrated. The results show that the calibrated torque well agrees with target torque.
