Nanocomposite TiO2/multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) film was successfully coated on a F-SnO2 conducting substrate by electrophoretic deposition. We found that a small addition of MWCNTs (1 wt.% and 5 wt.%) in the TiO2 solution could significantly reduce the TiO2 cracks. SEM analysis reveals that MWCNTs are well dispersed in the film; and the amount of MWCNTs incorporated on the film is increased with the increase of the carbon nanotubes concentration. X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy results indicate that TiO2 particles deposited on the film are mostly anatase. © 2008 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved;
