摘要
Spectroscopic properties of oxyfluoride glasses with the composition of 50GeO2·20BaF2·10 AlF3(20-x-y)LnF3· xTbF3·ySmF3 (x=0-10 mol%, y=0-1.0 mol%) were investigated. The value of Ω2 in this glass system is larger than those of other glasses, which was calculated by Judd-Ofelt theory based on the f-f transitions of Sm3+. And the fluorescence of Sm3+ was enhanced by co-doping with Tb3+ ions, and the emission color changed from green to orange when increasing Sm3+ concentration in Tb3+ doped glasses. These results indicate that energy transfer occurres between Tb3+ ions and Sm3+ ions. And the mechanism for energy transfer was discussed.
