摘要
The case presented shows that the two-zone heat storage tank fulfills the intended purpose. It was found that, even at high volume flows, assuming constant flow and return temperatures, thermal stratification is good, which could be proven by very thin thermoclines. The operation of the two-zone heat storage tank does not fundamentally differ from that of an atmospheric onezone heat storage tank. The DTS system reveals details of the physical behavior that would not have been accessible with conventional measurement technology. The detailed presentation of further details on all the storage systems examined can be found in the final report of the project SPICE. © 2020 Verlags und Wirtschaftsges. der Elektrizitatswerke.
