Electro-catalytic degradation of phenol-containing wastewater on nano-tubular TiO2-Pt modified electrode

Phenol-containing wastewater as a model contaminant by electro-catalytic degradation on a new electrode material--nano-tubular TiO2-Pt modified electrode has been studied. Various influence factors on the removal rate of CODCr and phenol, such as the concentration of electrolyte, PH and electrolysis time were examined. The results indicated that phenol removal rate can reach 90% and removal rate is 63.7% by electro-catalytic degradation on nano-tubular TiO2-Pt modified electrode under the experiment condition.
