A contact structureon a manifold M of dimension 2n+1 is a tangent hyperplane field, i.e. a 2n-dimensional sub-bundle ξ of the tangent bundle TM, satisfying the following maximal non-integrability condition. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2012.
