Admarin extends its activities

Admarin, the leading ship designer of Turkey, has been extending its activities and is developing a shipyard. The company mainly focuses on designing commercial cargo vessels and is currently providing design and consultancy services to more than 30 vessels under construction. Admarin has developed its own fleet, Serra D, by producing a chemical tanker design and has also designed vegetable oil trade tankers. Admarin is also developing the shipyard in the Free Zone area at Kosbas, Kocaeli, Izmit Bay, with a total cost of around US$20 million. The new shipyard presently has contracts to build six vessels including two 20,000dwt chemical tankers and two 11,000dwt vessels, for Tekne shipping.
