摘要
In order to investigate the dynamic compressive characteristics of similar materials in geotechnical model experiment, aluminum split Hopkinson pressure bar apparatus and aluminum sleeve were adopted to conduct impact compressive tests in both uniaxial state and passive confining state under various strain rates. The similar material is a cemented sand material with sand as aggregate, cement and gypsum as bonding agent. The test results show that cemented sand similar material presents an obvious strain rate effect in both uniaxial state and passive confining state. In uniaxial state, the dynamic stress-strain curve of cemented sand similar material presents a good elastic-plastic property. While in passive confining state, the dynamic stress-strain curve includes 4 stages, linear elastic stage, bonding failure stage, compaction stage, and unloading stage. Due to the confining effect of aluminum sleeve, the strength and ductility of cemented sand similar material have been improved. Its average peak strain in passive confining state is about 2.4 times bigger than that in uniaxial state, and its dynamic compressive strength in passive confining state is about 3 to 4 times bigger than that in uniaxial state. © 2015 ejge.
