摘要
For space application, the pulsed plasma thruster's plume is need to being studied. In this paper, DSMC(Direct Simulation Monte-Carlo)/PIC (Particle in Cell) fluid hybrid method were used to simulate the Laboratory PPT plume from end to end with the boundary condition by one-dimension MHD two-temperature discharge model. The plumes at different discharge energy were simulated, comparing with experimental results. The results show that the PPT plume from end to end could be simulated by this model. The variation of ion, neutral, electron temperature, axial mass flux and backflow mass flux on the plane above the thruster exit at different discharge energy are achieved. It shows that high energy brings more backflow, and that there is bigger neutral ratio in backflow.
