摘要
Fast and accurate non-destructive testing of high performance concrete is needed to ensure it is free of defects. The acoustic propagation characteristics of high performance concrete and the relationship between its compressive strength and ultrasonic parameters were studied by ultrasonic non-destructive methods using the sandstones of Nenjiang and Duobao mountains. Several mathematical models were developed for the compressive strength of high performance concrete and the velocity of sound. Precision requirements were met through reference to actual measured data. Uneven quality of high performance concrete can be reduced with better understanding of the relationship between compressive strength and the velocity of sound. This allows fast estimation of strength using ultrasound testing. At the same time the paper provides some reference data for the foundation of a future regional strengthening curve for high performance concrete.
