Research on optimization adjusting of the PV panels tilt angle intermittently

This paper presents a method of calculating the optimization tilt angle of intermittent adjusted PV panels. Variation trends of photoelectric conversion at different direct radiation, diffuse radiation and terrain reflecting radiation were studied. Furthermore, a model of instantaneous photoelectric energy calculation of fixed PV panels was established. It could calculate the optimum tilt angles of PV panels adjusted monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly which make annual energy maximum by continuous integration. The result shows, relative to horizontal mounting, adjusting PV panels every half year increases the energy collection by 23.8%-29.6%. The adjustment has better comprehensive benefits. ©, 2015, Science Press. All right reserved.
