Development of parting-mold module for casting process planning based on UG

摘要：
The development of parting-mold module for casting process planning with UG/Open API is discussed. The method for parting mold and how to extract maximum-parting-lines to form cavity automatically under defined rules is introduced. With the developed parting-mold module, parting-lines and parting-faces can be extracted easily, and cavity formed too.
