Effects of growth velocity on the results of volume-to-point heat conduction problem by bionic optimization

摘要
The effect of the growth velocity on the results of Volume-to-Point (VP) heat conduction problem by bionic optimization is numerically investigated from the aspects of point growth velocity and area growth velocity. The optimization results are apparently different at the same grid size due to the amount of generated high thermal conductivity materials is different at each solution step. A self-organizing process is introduced to eliminate the effect of the point growth velocity on the optimization results. The effect of area growth velocity on the optimization results is discussed through the numerical calculation at different grid sizes with the same point growth velocity. © 2015, Science Press.
