摘要：
How to effectively provide accurate design knowledge service to the designers has decisive influence on the enterprises. Design is a knowledge-intensive process; Design knowledge acquisition is significant yet difficult for the design knowledge service system. In the paper, considering the features of ripple down rules (RDR) method, a model for RDR-based design knowledge service system (RDR_DKSS) is proposed and analyzed. The process of design knowledge acquisition for realizing the system is analyzed further. When the experts solve the problem, the RDR system can process the knowledge at the same time. Finally, an example is given to describe the application of the RDR method.
