Spatial analysis of regional landscape ecological risk

Based on the traditional accumulative effect, the ecological risk which resulted from human activities and natural coerce was studied from the landscape scale. The landscape ecological risk index (LERI) was made up and its corresponding parameters were analyzed. Using Pingyao County, Shanxi Province, as study case example, the LERI of every grid was calculated, and the spatial distribution characteristics of landscape ecological risk (LER) of this county were obtained. The LER distribution and the land-use type and intensity, possessed relatively high correlativity, regional hydrology characteristic and human activity were the important causes affecting the LER diffusion.
