Configuration Scheme and Economic Analysis of Energy Storage System Participating in Grid Peak Shaving

The configuration of energy storage system was an effective means to reduce the load of load shifting and increased the space of wind power acceptance. This paper proposed a configuration scheme of energy storage auxiliary power grid peak regulation. The scheme of outer model for optimal allocation model, the net gain in energy storage system, thermal power unit output standard errors improved the quantity and the new wind power acceptance indexed constitute a multi-factor optimization model, adopted the method of iterative calculation configured for all solutions in the selection of multi-factor index, selected the optimal value as a result of both technical and economical energy storage system configuration. Outer model output parameters to calculate each index on the inner model, the inner model for optimal operation model, considered energy storage system operation cost, operated cost of thermal power unit, and abandoned the wind punishment cost, the minimum cost of peak load regulating operation system as the goal, to optimize system wind quantity, and got the energy storage system to charge and discharge power and thermal power unit output. Finally, based on the measured data of a local power grid, the effectiveness of the configuration scheme was verified, and the economy of the energy storage system was analyzed in the whole life cycle. © 2021, Electrical Technology Press Co.
