摘要
Multi-terminal DC transmission and DC power grid technology are effective schemes to solve the problems of centralized grid connection and long-distance transmission of renewable energy power generation. DC power flow controller (DCPFC) is the core equipment for DC power grid steady-state power flow regulation. It can also provide the current limiting capability for DC short-circuit transient fault current suppression. This paper summarizes the development status of DC power grid and its demand for DCPFC. It also summarizes and compares the working principle, advantages and disadvantages and research status of the existing DCPFC, emphatically analyzes the power flow transfer principle, topology and prototype progress of interline DCPFC, and summarizes the current limiting principle, topology and experimental prototype of fault current limiting DCPFC. Finally, the key problems in the research, development and application of DCPFC are prospected. © 2022 Automation of Electric Power Systems Press.
