摘要
A method of three-dimensional numerical simulation was used to transiently simulate the gas flow during intake process in a motorcycle engine. By analyzing the distributions of velocity, pressure and turbulence kinetic energy (W), and calculating the integrated parameters, such as intake charge, in-cylinder mean pressure and mean W, the effects of different intake-valve layouts on intake process were studied. The results of calculation indicated that larger intake-valve obliquity was favorable for intake process.
