摘要
The drift motion mathematical model of ship is established based on MMG (Mathematical Modeling Group) method under the action of wind, wave and surface current. And its numerical calculation method is presented. An example of the drift motion model application for unpowered trawler is illustrated. In the procedure, the drifter-trawler trajectories are calculated, and compared with test result. The result shows that the model predictions are in agreement with full scale experiment results. It illustrates that the presented models can provide reliable ship drift trajectory for search and rescue. © 2018, Editorial Board of Journal of Ship Mechanics. All right reserved.
