摘要：
A report on a field visit to Merapi volcano, Central Java, Indonesia, is presented. Merapi is one of the most active volcanoes of the planet, characterised by active dome growth , small-volume block and ash flows (BAF). A large number of inclusion samples in the erupted andesites, comprising igneous inclusions and variably metamorphosed fragments of sedimentary country-rock was collected.
