摘要
An effective heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system has been designed for a three storey north-oriented hospital building. The heat load of this building was calculated using the Hourly Analysis Program software with regard for the recovery of the energy from the exhaust air stream with the use of a heat recovery wheel reducing the temperature of the supply air stream and lowering the load on the air handling unit in the building. The results obtained show that a heat recovery wheel attached to a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system makes it possible to improve the indoor air quality with conservation of 30% of the the electrical energy.
