Printing - MAN Roland focuses on high added-value printing

The MAN Roland group (Germany) has demonstrated its Roland-500 line of sheet-fed offset presses for high added-value applications, especially in the packaging industry. The presses are capable of printing on various types of products including labels, prospectuses and packages. They print in 4 or 5 colors and many of them are equipped with in-line varnishing units. Roland-500 operates at an hourly speed of 9000 sheets of paper whose grammage can vary from 75 to 150 g.
