摘要
The paper gives the clear schlieren images of mixture formation process in the mixer of natural gas engines by using schlieren photograph system, and the mixture formation process of natural gas and air in a modified venture-type mixer with a natural gas delivery tube is investigated. It is found that introducing the natural gas delivery tube in venture-type mixer can improve the mixing process between air and natural gas, and arrangement of delivery tube along the radial direction of mixer and formation of cross-jet by gas injection and air flow can remarkably improve mixing process. Meanwhile, cross-jet gas delivery tube aliform section is beneficial to reducing air flow resistance and obtaining better mixing quality.
