摘要
With the development of computer technology, the discontinuity network simulation technology which is based on the statistics has been improved and widely used in engineering practice. However, in the traditional discontinuity network simulation, the random discontinuities are unable to show the probability distribution model for their spacing. Aiming at this point, the production method for the central point of random discontinuities is improved to make random discontinuities show the probability distribution model for their spacing in simulation zone. The improved method makes the discontinuity network model show more nonuniformity and the distribution form of discontinuities more consistent with its natural form. It also can control the distribution form of discontinuities in the simulation zone by controlling the distribution patterns of central point of the random discontinuity. Based on the engineering practice, discontinuities network model can be closer to its real form. © 2016, Editorial Office of Chinese Journal of Geotechnical Engineering. All right reserved.
