摘要
In order to enhance the heat transfer in single plate pulsating heat pipe, and meet the needs of high power electronic chip cooling, the cold end heat pipe radiator that has more fluctuating structure was proposed, and the heat dissipation and startup performance were experimentally researched. The influence of charging rate and radiator heating power with pulse cold end heat pipe on the heat transfer performance and startup performance was analyzed, and the pulse cold end heat pipe was compared with single plate pulsating heat pipe. The results show that the best charging rate of pulse cold end heat pipe radiator is 25%. Multiple pulsating cold end on either side of the radiator after cold end is among the first order. Start time affected by charging rate is small, but it is shortened with the increase of heating power and the started stability is stronger. The started temperature increases with the increment of the charging rate. At the same conditions, the heat transfer properties with more pulses cold end radiator and the startup performance are superior to those of the single piece of plate pulsating heat pipe. © 2017, Central South University Press.
