摘要
To obtain the heat exchanger with higher heat transfer efficiency, the structure of the elliptical section spiral copper tube (ESSCT) heat exchanger was improved by installing spiral baffle and hollow tube. The vibration enhanced heat transfer characteristics of the improved ESSCT heat exchanger under different inlet flow velocity and different ratio of transverse and longitudinal radius (e) were studied by using two-way fluid structure coupling calculation method. The study showed that the heat exchanger can reach a higher heat transfer efficiency by using the heat transfer element with an elliptical section instead of a conventional round section. When the section is elliptical (e^l), the heat transfer performance of the ESSCT was improved in varying degrees. Especially, when e; 2, it is enhanced to the greatest extent, and at the same time, the integrated enhanced heat transfer performance of the heat exchanger is the optimal. The mean surface average heat transfer coefficient (SAHTC) and the performance evaluation criteria CEper) of the ESSCT increased with the increase of inlet flow velocity. In addition, the SAHTC under unit pressure drop was more effective at low flow rate, which decreased with the increase of inlet flow velocity. The results in this paper can provide some guidance for the design of the new ESSCT heat exchanger. © 2023 Xi'an Jiaotong University. All rights reserved.
