摘要
For study of PMSG wind farm equivalent with single PMSG, it needs to study influence of wind speed and wind turbine location on fault characteristics of PMSG wind farm. Capacitance at PMSG DC side can isolate turbine side from power grid. When fault happens, chopper circuit will consume excess energy, so wind speed will not affect fault characteristics of PMSG wind farm. Because the line within wind farm is not very long, influence of wind turbine location to fault characteristics can be ignored in normal conditions. However, when a part of PMSGs in collection line turns into LVRT but the others not, influence of wind turbine location to fault characteristics should be considered. With constructed models of PMSG wind farm and single PMSG, simulation result confirms above conclusion. © 2016, Power System Technology Press. All right reserved.
