N2O analogy technique was described as the method for estimation of gas solubility in solutions when it reacts. The measurements of N 2O and CO2 absorption in aqueous and ethanol solutions of methyldiethanolamine were performed at 293 K. The obtained results allowed verifying the applicability range of the N2O analogy.
