Seismic behavior of reinforced block masonry shear wall with opening

摘要
A restoring-force experimental investigation on the seismic behaviors of reinforced block masonry shear wall with opening on one-forth-scale has been studied. The test results show that failure of coupling beams prior to wall pier can be achieved in proper reinforcement; Rigidity ratio of wall to beam has remarkable influence on shear wall with opening. Story drift is flexural mode in elastic stage, while story drift is shear mode in inelastic stage. The normalized envelop of 3 hysteresis loops can provide essential data for dynamic analysis on shear wall structure.
