摘要
US recovered paper demand from Asia decreased with the weakening of end product markets of Chinese buyers and the lower-priced material was available from Europe and Japan. There were changes in prices out of New York/New Jersey, where export old corrugated containers (OCC) to Asia rise slightly to $90-$100/ton from $90-95/ton and sorted white ledger (SWL) declined $22.50/ton. China purchased 52% of total US recovered paper exports and a total of 665,160 tonnes in March 2005. China was to add 13.24 million tonnes of recovered paper-based capacity in containerboard, boxboard and newsprint.
