摘要
In the plateau and frigid environment, the performance of the centrifugal compressor is influenced, which affects the performance of the stack and other air supply system components. For the same compressor and the same fluid, a centrifugal compressor model is established based on several environmental correction formulas. The model is used to study the changes of the performance MAP, working range, outlet temperature and inhaled vapour mass flow of centrifugal compressors in different environmental conditions. The low ambient temperature increases the probability of surge and stall triggering, and arithmetic reduces the compressor outlet temperature. When the temperature drops to -30℃, the vapour mass flow into the compressor is close to 0. Under the ambient pressure of 0.6 bar, nearly half of the working points of the compressor cannot work, and it can only run part of the low working conditions. Meanwhile, the compressor outlet temperature rises faster as the load increases and can reach more than 100℃ even under the ambient temperature of -30℃. © Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.
