Estimation for the performance of load simulator

The electro-hydraulic load simulator is a key equipment for the hardware-in-loop simulation of aircraft. The simulation creditability is directly related to the load trace preciseness. There is no identified estimation standard for it now, which causes some misunderstanding for the design and implementation. Some estimation methods are summarized, and their problems are disclosed. It is illustrated from two sides. First, the evaluation methods is presented for the performance of load simulator. Then, to require the performance of the load simulator by evaluating the actuator, the influence of the dynamic stiffness of the actuator is mainly discussed.
