OCC market report has indicated a quite period for the OCC prices throughout the US. A vast majority of board mills are buying OCC at the reported prices. Some mills are actively pursuing OCC while others are pushing their suppliers away. The real scramble for OCC tons is expected to occur when business picks up again later in the year 2001 or early next year.
