Today, customer requirements call for the maximum possible flexibility in production. This can be achieved by means of employeeoriented production which promotes employees to be creative top performers. Among others, this requires an optimisation of the design, management, distribution and display of employee information presently used in enterprises. This paper describes a concept developed by IAP GmbH how to design work instructions optimally and provide them in a special employee information system. © Carl Hanser Verlag, München.
